Yes. The same accredited contractor fabricates the structural steel and installs it on site — eliminating the contractual interface between fabricator and erector that typically delays close-out and snagging on UK construction projects.

What accreditations do your erection crews hold?

CSCS-carded site teams with IPAF and PASMA tickets as the project requires, fully PPE-equipped and harnessed for working at height. Method statements and risk assessments are project-specific and signed off with the principal contractor before mobilisation.

Do you provide lift planning and cranage?

Yes. Crane selection, ground-bearing assessments and documented lift plans are produced in-house and issued to the principal contractor for sign-off. Mobile crane, MEWP and HIAB co-ordination is run by the CR Steel site supervisor.

Do you carry out on-site welding and modifications?

Yes — coded MIG, TIG and MMA welders are available for site connections, remedial works and design modifications, working to qualified WPS and visual / NDT inspection regimes consistent with the workshop quality plan.

Where in the UK do you erect?

Nationwide — England, Scotland and Wales. Site teams mobilise from regional bases with welfare and tooling, and steelwork arrives sequenced in the principal contractor's lift order to eliminate double-handling and on-site storage congestion.

From site set-up and crane positioning through to final bolting and handover, our steel frame erection service is built around programme certainty and safe co-ordination on live sites.

We plan every lift with appointed-person sign-off, crane-rated lift plans and ground-bearing assessments issued in advance. MEWPs, telehandlers and mobile cranes are co-ordinated through a single point of contact so steel arrives, lifts and lands in the right sequence.

Dedicated project managers track deliveries, labour and progress against the master programme, with daily briefings, toolbox talks and site-specific RAMS keeping safety at the forefront. CDM compliance, CSCS-carded operatives and documented lift practices mean work proceeds efficiently and on time — with one contractor accountable from fabrication to handover.

Structural steel erection and site installation

We erect the structural steel we fabricate. CSCS-carded teams, planned lifts, on-site coded welding and project-specific RAMS — delivered by the same accountable business that ran the drawings and the workshop.

When the people who fabricated the steel also install it, snags are fixed on the spot. No finger-pointing between fabricator and installer, no second mobilisation to put right what could have been adjusted on the day.

Lift plans and crane coordination

Lift plans, ground-bearing assessments and crane selection are produced in-house and aligned to your delivery slots so the steel and the crane meet on time.

On-site coded welding

Site connections and modifications are made by the same coded welders who run the workshop, to the same procedures and the same paperwork.
