Capability

What we
deliver.

From structural frame modelling and architectural detailing through sheet metal DFM and fabrication-ready output — every drawing is produced in-house by detailers who understand the cutting, welding and assembly that follows.

  • Phase 01

    Structural CAD design

Steel frame design and connection detailing produced by experienced detailers and reviewed against the current Eurocodes — issued for approval and released to fabrication once formally signed off.

    • Frame & connection design
    • Eurocode reviewed
    • Formal sign-off
    • Fabrication-released
  • Phase 02

    Architectural detailing

Balustrades, staircases, balconies, gates and feature metalwork modelled in 3D with material, finish and interface details co-ordinated with the cladding and M&E packages.

    • 3D modelled
    • Balustrades & stairs
    • Cladding co-ordinated
    • M&E interfaces
  • Phase 03

    Sheet metal flat-pattern CAD

Flat-pattern unfolding, bend-sequence modelling and weld-access checks performed alongside the structural team — DFM input at the drawing stage tightens quality, cost and procurement lead times before the laser fires.

    • Flat-pattern unfolding
    • Bend sequencing
    • Weld-access checks
    • DFM at drawing stage
  • Phase 04

    Drawings, sketches or reference data

Submit engineer's drawings, scheme drawings, sketches, photographs or reference samples — the design team will model the item in 3D and return a fully specified, drawing-controlled quotation.

    • Any input accepted
    • 3D modelled
    • Drawing-controlled quote

Why detail with us

CAD produced by the team that will fabricate it

Tekla and Advance Steel models are produced in-house by detailers integrated with the production facility — connection design, GA drawings and NC output are released straight to the beam line, with clashes resolved at design stage rather than discovered on site.

Approvals

Formal approval prior to fabrication

Design and CAD outputs are formally issued for client and approving-authority sign-off before fabrication commences, providing the audit trail required by principal contractors and asset operators. Drawings, schedules and structural reports can be submitted for quotation via the online enquiry form or by direct email submission.

Collaboration

Integration with engineers and architects

The technical team integrates with the project's structural engineer and architect as an extension of the design team — accelerating design decisions, reducing site rework and supporting on-programme delivery.

More Services

Drawings only earn their keep when the rest of the chain executes them — fabrication, welding, finishing and delivery all rely on clean CAD. Explore the services that turn our modelling into installed structural steel.

CAD detailing

Structural steel CAD and detailing

Our in-house team produces 3D structural steel models, GA drawings, fabrication tickets and NC / DXF outputs in Tekla and Advance Steel. Connections are designed to Eurocode 3 and checked by a chartered engineer before any steel is cut.

Models are coordinated against architectural and MEP backgrounds via IFC exchange, so clashes are resolved on screen — not on site at 7am with the crane idling.

Drawn by people who fabricate

Drawings are produced by detailers who walk the metal fabrication workshop every day. Details are buildable, weld access is real, and tolerances match the equipment that will cut and drill the steel.

From model to certified fabrication

The same model feeds production and the CE / UKCA compliance pack, so part marks, weld maps and material schedules all reconcile to a single source.
